Overview
This will be a joint/hybrid position, working in both a loan processor and member service role. Member Service Representatives will assist members by addressing inquiries and resolving member issues in person, via phone or by email. As a commercial loan processor, assist in collecting information to ensure all loan documentation is complete and accurate. The responsibilities will also include building and maintaining relationships with the members. To succeed in this position, you should have excellent communication skills and the ability to perform tasks with minimal supervision. You should also have phenomenal customer service abilities.

- Mail or e-mail loan applications and/or information to members and prospective members.
- Provide administrative assistance to the Director of Business Services, including updating loan data in the credit union’s computers, processing letters, and assembling documentation for member loans.
- Ensure that loan files contain documents with proper signatures, dates, and other relevant data. Perform various preliminary reviews on loan files such as title reports, flood determinations, hazard binders and appraisals.
- Assemble and verify accuracy of loan documentation.
- Check documents for proper vesting, legal descriptions, closing dates, and signatures.
- Order credit reports for loan officers.
- Request flood certification to identify if property is or is not in a flood zone.
- Request AVM / PCR to establish property value and condition of property.
- Prepare and submit loan documentation requests
- Order title work from attorneys
- Notify vendor to place security interest of credit union on title document. Ensure that the documentation on titles is accurate and up to date.
- May input loans into the system.

We are seeking a dedicated, knowledgeable, and energetic Loan Officer to join our dynamic team. In this position, you will be responsible for taking thorough loan applications through all delivery channels including; phone, video, chat, text, online, and in-person on the ISU campus; cross-selling all credit union ancillary products and other services when in the members best interest; be thorough in documenting application notes to send to underwriting and be reviewed for a decision; and maintain safety and security of our members, our employees, and the credit union assets by adhering to regulations, policies, and procedures.
Responsibilities
- Exercises good judgment and decision-making skills using credit union policy and procedures and obtaining appropriate approval on items exceeding established authority.
- Interview loan applicants and provide information on loan products and alternative products that best meet the member’s needs. Request and review all required information and documentation to secure a loan.
- Assure the team safeguards member information while always maintaining total confidentiality, inside and outside of work.
- Remains current in laws and regulations and follows appropriate policies and procedures.
- Makes recommendations for improvement of security of member information, data, and physical environment.
- Demonstrates initiative by completing required items for personal and professional development.
- Enhances visibility within the community by supporting and participating in community events.
- Assists in and supports marketing efforts for the credit union.
- Assists with maintaining facility appearance.
- Completes special projects as assigned.
- Assist member in completing loan applications over the phone and/or electronically. Obtain and evaluate credit reports.
- Recommend and outline terms of loan. Inform prospective borrowers of loan commitments.
- Determine collateral needs and payment plans for members applying for loans.
- Notify applicant of loan decision. Correspond with members, applicants, and creditors to resolve questions regarding application information.
- Handle a variety of loans simultaneously while communicating with members in a timely manner.
- Train new consumer loan officers, and assist more junior consumer loan officers with questions, challenges, etc.
- Resolves member complaints, data conflicts, and ensures proper pipeline management of loans.

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Marketing Assistant to join our marketing team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in supporting various marketing initiatives, helping to drive brand awareness and engagement. Responsibilities
- Responsible for graphic design projects from concept and design to production.
- Monitoring and managing the company’s social media platforms, adjusting outreach tactics as needed
- Complete projects related to branding, content creation, and social media marketing
- Assist management with the preparation of campaigns and reports
- Collect performance metrics to measure progress
- Works closely with the Vice President of Marketing to create collateral, promotional and advertising pieces for print, web, social and event projects.
- Ensures consistency in the visual representation of the brand.
- Assists branch offices with displays, promotions and marketing materials.
- Updates the public website and Intranet site to ensure that content is accurate.
- Maintains and restocks inventory of marketing materials and supplies, including but not limited to brochures, envelopes, and company promotional items. Coordinates distribution of inventory to branches and departments according to their needs.
- Supports and participates in promotional events, representing the credit union.
- Follows internal compliance procedures for advertisements, marketing materials and events.
Experience
- Degree in Marketing, Graphic Design, Advertising or related field, or at least 2 years’ experience in desktop publishing and creative development. Or any combination equivalent to education and experience that provides the required knowledge and skills.
- Bilingual and biliterate in English and Spanish preferred, but not required.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Good listening and interpersonal skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Computer literate.
